The Stanley Hotel opened its doors in 1909. Its striking Georgian Colonial architecture and magnificent setting have made it one of the region's best-loved hotels. There's a lot of history at the Stanley and in the tradition of the Grand Resorts, it has seen its share of famous visitors, from writers to royalty.

People seem to come from all over just to visit this famous Hotel. There's a sense of calm when you are here: time seems to slow down. It's a pleasure to simply sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and take in the view of Rocky Mountain National Park.
